Moment No. 1 - First Real Meal of 2016

Happy New Year, everyone! :) I hope you all had a great first day of the year.

So, if you watched my recent 2016 Update Video (here), I mentioned a new series for Week 1. And it's all about my cute 'Moment Diary'. To learn more about the actual diary, refer back to (this) post.

This isn't my first real entry in my Moment Diary, I started it before the ball dropped at midnight. I know, I rang in the new year working in the studio, lol. I won't post about my first entry just yet because I will release it when my Moment Diary series starts on the 7th! Look out for it ;)

Anyway, to really kick off the year, here's my first entry of 2016! And of course it's about food. No surpriseee. Lol.

Since I didn't get to bed until almost 3:30AM, my day didn't officially start till noon. My sister texted me that they were going to drop some things down to the house and asked if I wanted to eat at Outback Steakhouse with them. I was clearly still in bed when I read her text, but I managed to get ready just in time. Since I was going to Outback with them, all I ate at home was a small bowl of leftover Arroz Caldo (chicken rice porridge), a few strawberries and a mug of orange juice.

I seriously haven't been to Outback in literally more than a decade. I really don't know why, it's just not my go-to restaurant even though it's about a 10 minute drive.

We started off with the Blooming Onion (not pictured), which is always delish. Although, the portion seems smaller than I had remembered? ...I think I just got older, lol.

I was thinking of getting the usual burger and fries, but then I thought about the huge holiday feastin' I did over the past week 1/ I went with the Steakhouse Salad. Gotta have those greens! lol. It was unbelievably goodddd. SO BOMB. So much flavor! I ended up taking home the leftovers (which I will be having for dinner in just a sec.) To end the meal, we all shared the Chocolate Thunder and it was really good as well. I can't say no to brownies and ice cream. Haha.

So, nothing really exciting happened after that. I just went straight to my studio and worked on this entry.

By the way, this entry is kind of a glimpse of what to expect with my revamped Slice of Doodles (minus the polaroids and stickers.)

Okay, off to the kitchen I go!
